Freddie Steward has been included in the shortlist for Premiership Rugby’s Land Rover Discovery of the Season award.
The Land Rover Discovery of The Season award is designed to recognise the most exciting young players emerging during the 2020/21 campaign.

Past winners of the Discovery award include Sam Simmonds, Maro Itoje, Henry Slade, Billy Vunipola and Tigers players Ellis Genge, Ben Youngs, Manu Tuilagi, Tom Varndell and Ollie Smith.
The winner will be announced next Thursday (June 17) at the 2021 Premiership Rugby Awards, presented by Gallagher.
The full Land Rover Discovery of the Season shortlist is:
- Alfie Barbeary (Wasps)
- Ollie Hassell-Collins (London Irish)
- Will Evans (Harlequins)
- Ioan Lloyd (Bristol Bears)
- Bevan Rodd (Sale Sharks)
- Freddie Steward (Leicester Tigers)
Land Rover ambassador Lewis Moody, the former back-rower with Tigers, England and the Lions, said: "I’ve been really impressed with the number of talented young players emerge onto the Gallagher Premiership Rugby scene this season, and become immensely valuable to their teams.
"It’d be hard to leave all of the players on the shortlist out of any Premiership Rugby team of the year, and that’s testament to them for putting the hard work in and showcasing their potential.
"It just goes to show the strength in depth at clubs at the moment.
"Many of the previous winners of this award have gone on to earn international honours, and I’m looking forward to seeing how all of the guys on the shortlist progress in years to come."
