Leicester Tigers have named matchday squad for Saturday's Premiership Cup clash against Nottingham Rugby at 3pm at Mattioli Woods Welford Road.
Flanker Finn Carnduff captains the club for the first time in a senior competitive fixture, the Academy product having led England U20s to a Six Nations and Junior World Championship title in 2024.
Carnduff was also skipper for Leicester's victory against Georgia Black Lion last year.
Academy prop Tubuna Maka will make his senior debut in the round five clash, starting in the front row with James Cronin and Finn Theobald-Thomas. Nottingham tighthead Xavier Valentine joins Tigers on-loan and will take his place on the bench.
The 26-year-old has spent the last three seasons with Nottingham and recently made his 50th appearance for Saturday's opponents.
There's also a place for Academy flanker Josh Manz on Tigers' bench. Manz recently recovered from a long-term injury, and has continued his return to play with minutes for Tigers XV against Oxford Uni, and for Nottingham in the Championship.
