Leicester Tigers have named their side for Saturday’s Premiership Cup clash against Coventry at Mattioli Woods Welford Road.
The match is part of an exciting Saturday double-header with Tigers Women’s taking on Bristol at 12pm before the 3pm kick-off in the Cup.
Tigers centre Will Wand will face his former team for the first time after being selected at outside-centre. The former Brooksy College student was Coventry's player of the season before joining Tigers in the Summer.
Academy duo Samuel Williams and Tom Threlfall make their first starting appearance for the club after earning a club debut last Friday night at Franklin's Gardens.
Wales U20 and Tigers academy flanker Harry Beddall is named for his potential club debut from the bench.
Leicester Tigers coach, Matt Smith said: “We’re excited for the challenge this week against a really strong Coventry team."
“The clubs share a lot of history going back to the beginning and for some of our younger lads, this is their first chance to play at home so it’s a great occasion for us.
“This block is primarily about improving and gaining experience. We’re determined to build on some of the things we did well last week on Saturday."
