Geordan Murphy says the Leicester Tigers players are "in a good spot" as they take a break from the Aviva Premiership on the back of three wins on the bounce.
Tigers signed off from the latest phase of the league campaign with a 34-5 bonus-point win away to Worcester Warriors no Sunday.
It followed a bonus-point win at Saracens and a home victory against Harlequins, results that have lifted Tigers into fifth in the Aviva Premiership table as the Anglo-Welsh Cup returns over the next two weekends.
“The boys are in a good spot,” said coach Murphy. “They’ve delivered three tough wins and it’s good to get bonus points.
“We knew we had a quality outfit and when we got the right bodies on the field, we could go out and score tries.
“I thought we did a lot of good things against Worcester and we were obviously delighted to get a bonus-point win.
“The boys did a good job. The bench came on and made a good impact and it was great to get five tries.
“We’re not going to get complacent. We know we have a tough run in but wins like Sunday’s over Worcester certainly help.”
Tigers return to Welford Road on Sunday, March 25 when Wasps are the visitors in a 3pm kick-off. Match tickets are on general sale.
The game is in big demand and fans are encouraged to book now to secure the best available places and avoid disappointment.
