Leicester Tigers have signed second-row forward James Voss from Jersey Reds with immediate effect.
Voss, who can also play in the back row, made his debut for Jersey as a 17-year-old before spells with Gloucester Rugby and Hartpury, gaining representative recognition with England Students.
He returned to Jersey in 2016 and gained Championship experience there before agreeing a move to the Tigers. He links up with his new clubmates for the first time this week.
Tigers head coach Matt O’Connor said: “James is an ambitious young player who wants to challenge himself. He has gained experience in the Championship with a competitive Jersey side and we’re looking forward to working with him here.”
