The Tigers senior and development squads, coaching staff and staff members from Oval Park and Welford Road came together to celebrate 30 years of service to Leicester Tigers from Cheryl Hill, a member of the club's Grounds Staff.
Hill, who began her career at the club in 1990, was surprised with an event in her honour at Tigers HQ and presented with a one-off cap - modelled on those that Tigers players receive for 100 starting appearances for Leicester - and a watch by head coach Geordan Murphy, who Hill has seen grow from a teenager, through his playing days to a decorated captain and now coach.
Speaking after the event, Hill said: "I would like to thank everyone for the lovely surprise party and lovely presents and for all of the kind words said."
"It has been a fantastic day."
I like to thank everyone for the lovely messages, And like to also say thank you to Leicester tigers 🐯 for the surprise party and lovely presents and Georden speech #Tigersfamily
