Leicester Tigers have confirmed four players have joined the club’s Senior Academy group ahead of the 2024/25 season.
Flyhalf Tom Threlfall and props Bronson Kingsley-Mellowes and Tubuna Maka will step up having impressed in Tigers colours at underage level and fullback George Pearson joins from Midlands Central Academy and City of Oxford College.
Maka and Kinglsey-Mellowes both came through the Brooksby College pathway and all four have featured in England U18 squads during the 2023/24 season.
Leicester Tigers general manager, Richard Wilks said: “Bronson and Tubuna continue the Club’s rich heritage in developing front five forwards and we are excited to welcome them into the Senior Academy.
“I’m sure they will benefit from working with the other talented players in that group, as well as all the international props we have at the club when the opportunity arises.
“Tom and George took part in some senior sessions at the back end of lasr season and impressed both the coaches and players alike.”
