Former Tigers and England captain Corry, who is now a Caterpillar ambassador, teamed up with Tigers and Caterpillar staff for a series of machine stick times and challenges.
The challenges included a 15-minute pitch in which the teams had to demonstrate their sales skills and knowledge of Caterpillar’s Backhoe Loader and the Compact Wheel Loader.
Later in the day, the teams went head-to-head on challenges using the 725 ADT, the 259B33, the TH414, the 301.4C mini excavator and the 314D excavator.
Corry, who captained the boys’ team, said: “Caterpillar and Leicester Tigers have a special relationship due to their mutual understanding and respect for one another.
“Both companies have gained status and recognition in their fields through their continual setting of high standards.”
However, the day’s outstanding player was Tigers sponsorship account executive Zoe Harby, and she said: “Thank you to our sponsors and friends at Caterpillar for a fantastic day on the machine operator challenge.”
Laura Partridge, Tigers corporate sales executive, added: “I can understand why the representatives at Caterpillar are so passionate about what they do and about the Caterpillar brand, as we are here at Leicester Tigers. That’s why the partnership is a fantastic fit.”
