Tigers retain places in England line-up

Six Leicester Tigers player will start Saturday's QBE International for England against Australia at Twickenham.

England have made just one change to the team that beat Fiji convincingly last weekend, with Chris Ashton returning after a one-match suspension. Charlie Sharples moves to the left wing in place of Ugo Monye.

Head coach Stuart Lancaster said: "To select 23 from a squad of 30-plus who have trained so well, with such intensity and focus, was difficult but it's a good position to be in. The ‘team first’ mentality of all our squad has impressed us greatly.

"We were pleased with lots of aspects of our performance last week, but we need to improve this week and, by having some consistency in selection, we allow those players to demonstrate we can step up to the next level against what will be a very tough Australian side."

Tom Youngs wins his second cap after his impressive debut against Fiji, while Dan Cole, Geoff Parling and Thomas Waldrom are also included in the forward pack. Tigers colleagues Toby Flood and Manu Tuilagi are in the backline.

Leicester scrum-half Ben Youngs is named among the replacements.
