Premiership Rugby Limited have confirmed that Sunday’s scheduled fixture between Leicester Tigers and Wasps has been cancelled.
An announcement has been made today that administrators have been appointed of Wasps Holdings Limited and the company has ceased trading with immediate effect.
Tigers are considering all of the implications around the cancellation – following announcement of the cancellation of the November 5 fixture at home to Worcester Warriors – and are also looking at opportunities for alternative fixtures during gaps in the season.
The Tigers ticket office will provide an update for season ticket holders and match ticket purchasers as quickly as possible.
Seasonal and match-by-match hospitality bookers will be contacted by a member of the Tigers corporate sales team.
The next Gallagher Premiership home game is now against London Irish on Sunday, November 27 (3.00pm) and match tickets are on sale now.
There are also two home games for the Leicester Tigers’ women’s team in November, both at Mattioli Woods Welford Road.
Tigers host Loughborough Town Ladies on Saturday, November 5 and Harrogate Ladies on Saturday, November 19 in Women’s Championship North.
Entry to both games is already included in Tigers season tickets – you will receive a code via email from the Tigers ticket office to book a place – and women’s team season ticket holders will receive fresh tickets for match against Loughborough Town with the new kick-off time. Match tickets are available to book now for all other supporters.
