Leicester Tigers are excited to confirm five additions to the Senior Women’s squad.
Georgia Bradley, Charlotte Daley, Charlotte Fray, Leilah Mills and Lucy Nye have joined the club for the remainder of the 2022/23 season.
Daley, Fray and Nye have already appeared for Tigers in the unbeaten Women’s Championship North 1 campaign, while Bradley and Mills are yet to make their club debuts after joining the programme this month.
Georgia Bradley
Position: Back-row
Honours: Staffordshire County, Midlands Divisional U18s
Previous club: Loughborough Lightning
Bradley: “I’m really excited about the opportunity to join Leicester Tigers and be a part of this programme and where it is going. There’s great vibes in the team and I’m looking forward to getting stuck in.”
Charlotte Daley
Position: Outside Back
Honours: North Midlands County
Previous club: Lichfield Ladies
Daley: “It is kind of surreal to sign for Leicester Tigers and it’s lovely that the coaches see that potential in me. It’s crazy to think I could run out at Mattioli Woods Welford Road.”
Charlotte Fray
Position: Lock/Back Row
Honours: Leicestershire county
Previous club: Loughborough Town Ladies
Fray: “It’s an incredible opportunity. The environment has been so welcoming, the girls are all lovely and it’s a fun and enjoyable atmosphere to be a part of."
Leilah Mills
Position: Back-row
Honours: Leicestershire county, Midlands Divisional U18s
Previous club: Loughborough Town Ladies
Mills: “I actually played for the opposition in the Tigers v Loughborough Town game from earlier this season. It was an amazing experience and I can’t wait to do so in a Tigers kit.”
Lucy Nye
Position: Scrum-half
Honours: England U20’s, Great Britain in the World Rugby 7s Series
Previous club: Wasps
Nye: “To sign feels absolutely ace; the journey Tigers are on is just so exciting and I’m happy to be here. I am super excited to run out at Mattioli Woods Welford Road, not many women’s teams get to play in big stadiums in front of such passionate fans which is amazing.
Speaking about the additions, Leicester Tigers Head of Women’s Rugby Vicky MacQueen said: “Competition for places is always important and we can see at training, and in the games they’ve played, that these women can add further quality to our squad.”

The Leicester Tigers Women’s team are back in action at Mattioli Woods Welford Road on Sunday, February 12 against Novocastrians Ladies.
