Voting is underway for Leicester Tigers’ stand-out performer in September and supporters are being asked to make their choice.
Alesana Tuilagi, Scott Hamilton and Thomas Waldrom are on the three-man shortlist for the award.
Tuilagi was in outstanding form in pre-season and continued it into September, scoring Tigers’ first try of the campaign away to Northampton Saints. The wing scored three tries in September.
Last season’s player of the year, Hamilton was also in try-scoring form in September, touching down four times to make him the joint top scorer in Aviva Premiership Rugby.
And No8 Waldrom is another Kiwi to start the season strongly following his summer move to Welford Road, and scored his first Tigers try in the victory over Leeds Carnegie.
The player of the month award is supported by Goldsmiths, the largest prestige and luxury jewellers in the UK, who are also official East Stand sponsors and official timekeepers.
