Leicester Tigers today announced that Chris Ashton will be hosting the all-new Chairman’s Lounge in 2023/24.
Having retired from professional rugby at the end of the 2022/23 season, supporters will be delighted to see that Ashton will continue appearing at Mattioli Woods Welford Road, albeit off the field than on it.
Asked about his new role as host of the Chairman's Lounge, Ashton said ‘Tigers allowed me to create memories and stories that’ll last a lifetime, and I’m looking forward to continuing that involvement with the club moving forward. It’s great to a part of the matchday setup, and I look forward to seeing everyone back at Mattioli Woods Welford Road again soon’.
Match-by-match and limited seasonal hospitality are available in the all-new Chairman’s Lounge, which will open ahead of the first Gallagher Premiership home game of the season, against Sale Sharks on Saturday, October 21 (3.05pm).
Situated in the North Stand of Mattioli Woods Welford Road, The Chairman’s Lounge will provide an intimate and relaxed atmosphere for a matchday experience like no other.
The Lounge will feature a premium dining experience that is inspired by the rich diversity of cultures within Leicester, complimentary drinks throughout the day and a private walkway which opens out to padded seats that's situated on the halfway line, providing unrivalled views of the action on the pitch.
