Premiership Rugby have confirmed that Saturday’s match between Leicester Tigers and Exeter Chiefs is among four league matches to be shown live on Channel 5 in the remainder of the 2019/20 season.
Five Gallagher Premiership matches were shown on Channel 5 last season, gaining a combined TV audience of more than 2.6 million while the match between Harlequins and Tigers on the channel earlier this season was watched by a peak audience of 710,000.
Matches to be shown on Channel 5 this season are:
Saturday, August 15 (2.00pm): Exeter Chiefs v Leicester Tigers
Saturday, August 22 (2.00pm): London Irish v Northampton Saints
Saturday, August 29 (3.00pm): Sale Sharks v Bristol Bears
Saturday, September 5 (2.00pm): Harlequins v Bath Rugby
All five matches will be broadcast simultaneously on BT Sport.
