Who is the next George Ford, Manu Tuilagi or Tom and Ben Youngs?
You could well know the next young Leicester player to make a name for themselves on the pitch at Welford Road and here is the chance to help them start their journey through the ranks at Tigers.
The Leicester Tigers Developing Player Programme is designed to help players reach their full potential in the game and, while it is not the Academy, it is the first step for a young rugby player along the pathway that may present an opportunity to be a part of the Leicester Tigers Academy programme and beyond.
The DPP is not a playing programme but rather a training programme, with no representative matches featured for those involved.
This is the right start to the rest of a young rugby player's enjoyable and and successful life in our great game.
Nominations are now open for U13 players to be a part of the DPP in 2019 and coaches from clubs and schools can now put forward the names of the young players they believe are worthwhile of a place in the programme.

The primary criteria that we are looking for is those players who are ‘ready to engage with a challenging development programme’ that is: they are keen to better themselves, very committed to what they do and will add value to others in the DPP.
The closing date for all nominations is Monday, January 21, 2019.
