Leicester Tigers fans have voted this photo of Greg Bateman as their image of the season.

Taken by Malcolm Couzens, the photo captures Bateman making a clearance kick from the edge of his own 22 in the Aviva Premiership clash win over Exeter Chiefs at Welford Road in September.

Tigers fan Eileen Dugmore, of Birmingham, a season ticket holder in the Holland & Barrett Stand, was one of the fans who voted for the photo of Bateman, and she was picked out as the winner of a signed canvas of the image.

Supporters were asked to choose their image of the 2017/18 campaign from a shortlist of eight selected by the club’s Tiger Images photography team of Couzens, James Baylis, Geoff Sellars and Dave Wainwright.

A portrait photo of Dan Cole taken by Baylis was the second most-liked image with Telusa Veainu and Manu Tuilagi celebrating the opening try of the season against Bath Rugby coming third.
