Mellish Rugby Club hosts the fourth festival of the Prima Tiger Cup season for under-10s teams this Sunday.
Supported by Prima Solutions of Loughborough, the Prima Tiger Cup is a free-to-enter contact-based fun event open to all clubs at under-10 level (RFU defined).
The event takes place over four festivals covering the Tigers academy region and beyond. Throughout these festivals Tigers will look to identify clubs who demonstrate the true ethos of the game under our event criteria in keeping with the RFU Age Grade Rules and guidelines.
Teams taking part this weekend are from Dronfield, Ilkeston, Kesteven, Keyworth, Lincoln, Melbourne, Melton Mowbray, Newark, Nottingham Corsairs, Paviours, Southwell, Syston and hosts Mellish. We wish them all the best of luck and hope all of the players and coaches have an enjoyable day with the Tigers.
Selected clubs from the festivals will be invited to participate in a series of games at Tigers’ famous Welford Road stadium starting with the first round of games at the match against Gloucester next Saturday, November 4, providing a fantastic experience to young and aspiring players.
Attracting more than 70 entries each season, the Prima Tiger Cup is the largest and most prestigious single age-group playing opportunity in the rugby calendar.
Places in the Prima Tiger Cup are limited but if you would like to register your interest, book a place or have any questions about the event, please email [email protected] or visit https://www.leicestertigers.com/community/prima-tiger-cup for more details.
