Tom Folwell is set to make his 50th appearance for Leicester Tigers this weekend.
Folwell, who won the club's Wheelchair Rugby Player of the Year following his efforts in the 2022/23 season, has represented Leicester since the 2021/22 season and has previously won gold at the Invictus Games.
He will achieve the milestone at the weekend's European Championships in Poland where Leicester Tigers will look to retain their title from the last tournament, held in 2022.
The team claimed their inaugural international title with an extra-time victory over East Midlands rivals Northampton Saints on their way to a historic, unbeaten, treble-winning season.
Ahead of the milestone, Folwell said: "I am immensely proud to have reached 50 caps for this amazing club, and to earn the majority of them as captain of the Tigers WR5's team makes it even better."
Folwell will feature alongside two players who are making their maiden appearances. Andy Rayner will make his debut for the senior team having previously captained the side's development team, the Swifts, while Clive Smith, signed in the summer, is drafted straight in as Leicester get ready for their first senior tournament of the 24/25 season.
