Guinness Six Nations | Hurd set for Championship debut for Scotland

Leicester Tigers prop Will Hurd is set to make his Guinness Six Nations debut for Scotland in Saturday's clash against Italy at Scottish Gas Murrayfield.

Hurd's progression saw the Ashby-born tighthead earn his first test call this time last year, injury cruelly denying him his first taste of senior international rugby.

He would only have to wait until the Summer, however, and against Chile, Hurd earned his first cap. Then, in the November internationals, Hurd started his first game for Scotland, scoring a try against Portugal in what was a dominant victory.

Now, having recently re-signed with Tigers, Hurd will line up for Flower of Scotland in the Guinness Six Nations.
