Meg Jones has been announced as vice-captain of England ahead of the 2025 Guinness Women's Six Nations.
The Leicester Tigers back has previous leadership experience at international level, co-captaining Team GB at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Jones is one of two vice-captains for the Red Roses, alongside Marlie Packer, with Zoe Aldcroft named captain for the tournament, which involves a fixture at Mattioli Woods Welford Road on Saturday, April 19, against Scotland.
Jones has been in electric form for Tigers this season, scoring seven tries in five appearances, which included a hat trick during Saturday's home win against Sale Sharks Women.
In the 2024 Six Nations, shes made four starts in England's grand slam, scoring tries on the penultimate and final matchdays, against Ireland and France respectively.
The Red Roses kick off their title defence on Sunday, March 23, against Italy, then face Wales and Ireland on the road in Rounds 2 and 3, before facing Scotland in Leicester in Round 4. Their tournament finishes at home to France on Saturday, April 26.
