Leicester Tigers have agreed a loan deal with Cornish Pirates, seeing hooker Tom Cowan-Dickie return to the Championship club.
The 30-year-old joined Tigers on a short-term contract in September from Championship club Cornish Pirates, before extending the deal in December until the conclusion of the current season.
The front-rower has made five appearances since his debut in the Round 1 win against Exeter Chiefs at Mattioli Woods Welford Road, including four appearances and one try in the club's 21/22 Gallagher Premiership campaign to date.
Speaking about the loan agreement, Tigers Head Coach Steve Borthwick said: "We are very grateful to Cornish Pirates for helping facilitate this opportunity for Tom."
"It's important that Tom continues to get game time this season and this loan agreement provides that opportunity for him in a high-quality rugby environment under Alan Paver and Gavin Cattle."
Cowan-Dickie, who can be recalled by Tigers at anytime, will join Pirates this week in preparation for their Championship fixture against Coventry.
