Manu Tuilagi scored his first Rugby World Cup try as England secured a 41-10 victory over Georgia in Dunedin.

Leicester Tigers centre Tuilagi scored midway through the second half to secure England’s try bonus point and help move them top of Pool B.

It was a first-phase move that began with Tigers teammate Tom Croft winning lineout ball and involved Ben Youngs and Toby Flood before the 20-year-old Tuilagi blasted through the Georgia defence for his third international try.

Tuilagi’s score was one of six tries for England with Shontayne Hape (2), Chris Ashton (2) and Delon Armitage also on the mark. Tigers fly-half Flood kicked the rest of the points for Martin Johnson’s men.

England, who included Tigers prop Dan Cole in their starting XV and lock Louis Deacon on the bench, have now won two from two at the Rugby World Cup and face Romania in Dunedin on Saturday.
