As Leicester Tigers prepare for a return to Welford Road this weekend, we caught up with the White family to hear about their support for the team.
As part of our #MeetTheFamily campaign, we’re sharing the stories of our fans and finding out just why they love coming down to Welford Road.
Meet Eddie and Rita, their sons James and Ryan, and Grandad Roy who made his first-ever visit to Welford Road for the win over Sale Sharks last Sunday.
Standing by the Tigers mural next to Welford Road, Rita said: “We’re big Tigers fans and have been season ticket holders for two years in the Robin Hood Stand. It’s a great day out for the family and today we’ve brought along Grandad to cheer on the boys.”
Eddie added: “We’re from Hinckley and both our lads play for Market Bosworth so it’s great to come down and see the team in action. We’ve wrapped Roy up warm for his first-ever visit to Welford Road. He’s come all the way from Southampton so hopefully the boys will get a win to celebrate!”
