It's Father's Day and earlier this season, we caught up with Tigers fans Stuart Bashford and his dad Ron from Tamworth who have been season ticket holders at Welford Road since 2001.
As part of our #MeetTheFamily campaign chatting to Tigers fans on matchdays, we spoke with the pair earlier in the season when Tigers hosted Munster in this year’s European Champions Cup.
Stuart, 37, said: “Tigers are a part of our family and upbringing and nothing gets us more excited than coming down together to cheer on the lads. We’ve been lucky enough to see some incredible matches down here and made some good friends with the people we sit near.”
Ron, 64, added: “It’s a great chance to catch up together as well as get our fill of rugby.
We have always sat in the same seats in The Breedon Stand in Block M and there’s a lot of history in that stand.”
