The #TigersFamily was in full voice when Tigers visited Limerick to play Munster in the European Champions Cup earlier this month.
However, weather conditions and flight delays left many fans left stranded. So as a thank you for support, the club offered a number of free tickets for those fans who’s travel was disrupted.
Our #MeetTheFamily team chatted to Emily, Phil, Harry and Lydia who are season ticket holders at Welford Road.
Phil said: “We were unfortunate enough to get stuck in Limerick following the snow and flight delays, so it was great that the club offered to support us by giving away tickets for the return fixture.
Emily added: “So, we’ve brought along some of our other friends to show them what Welford Road was all about. The atmosphere is always really special and European nights always draw a big crowd at the stadium.”
All season-long we’re chatting to fans at home games to hear just why they love coming down to Welford Road. If you want to share your story and tell us why your Tigers biggest fan, you can get in touch by:
