All season, we’ve been hearing from fans at Welford Road about their attachment to the club and following the team in action. Today is the turn of Mala and Pankaj from Melton Mowbray, who have been season ticket holders for five years.

Mala said: “We’ve always supported Tigers but we moved to the South-East for a few years so couldn’t always make the games. 

“Luckily, we moved back to Leicester and we were very proud to get our hands on season tickets back in 2012. We moved seats last season during the ‘movers and shakers’ period to the South Stand and love our new view.”

Her husband Pankaj added: “It’s great because there are eight of our friends and family who all moved to these seats and we’ve made even more friends in our new spot. We drive in from Melton Mowbray and you can feel the excitement build as we get nearer to the stadium. Welford Road is a special place.”
