As part of the club’s #MeetTheFamily campaign, Leicester Tigers will be chatting to fans on matchdays throughout the season, hearing about first matches, favourite memories and why our supporters follow the club.
At last weekend’s match against Gloucester at Welford Road we caught up with pals Jack Sagoo from Oadby and Lester Pinto from Leicester, who stand on the terrace.
Jack, 39. said: I first got involved with rugby at school, playing with mates. Then we started to come down to watch Tigers and quickly became season ticket holders. Now we all come together every season to cheer on the lads.”
Lester, 56, added: “What I love most is the atmosphere. The fact you can chat to fans from both teams and have a laugh together is exactly what rugby is all about.”
Looking back at his favourite Tigers moments, Jack said: “The Martin Johnson days were something we’ll never forget and things like the ABC Club only add to the heritage of the club.
“Lester is a lucky charm for me because whenever he comes down we tend to get a win, so fingers crossed for the season!”
