This weekend sees the welcome return of European Cup rugby to Welford Road, which gives us a great opportunity to hear from supporters about their love for Leicester Tigers.
As part of our #MeetTheFamily campaign, we’re encouraging fans to get in touch to share stories about with their favourite matches, their first memories of matchdays or simply to tell us why they love coming down to Welford Road.
We chatted to the Underwood family – no relation to Tigers brothers Rory and Tony! They are Martin, Lisa and their daughters Abbie, Charlotte and Millie, who live in Oakham.
Martin said: “We’re all season ticket holders and love coming down to Welford Road to stand and join in the fun on the terrace.
“The kids’ grandpa comes along too but he sits in the Holland & Barrett Stand so we always catch up to hear about things we may have missed on the other side of the pitch!”
Mum Lisa added: “We get the train in from Oakham because we love to stay late after the matches to enjoy the Rock Bottom band in The Final Whistle at each home game.
“Our cousins sometimes join us too, so it’s a real family event and great day out for us all – made even better when the boys win.”
