The final Championship side, Bedford Blues, will be most familiar to Tigers fans. The two sides have an assortment of shared players, a list that includes the likes of Charlie Clare, Dan Cole, Harry Wells and Tom Youngs.
Finally, Newcastle Falcons and Sale Sharks are two sides looking to further embellish stellar reputations in the competition. Falcons are joint-third on the all-time winners lists, having lifted the Premiership Cup on four occasions, most recently in 2004.
