Leicester Tigers are excited to announce Tom Manz has renewed his contract with the club.
A Leicestershire local who grew up watching the club, Manz graduated through the club’s pathways programme, representing Tigers and his country at underage level.
Tom, 23, made his senior debut in 2022, and has made 13 appearances for the club so far, including a Gallagher Premiership debut earlier this season.
Indeed 2024/25 has been a breakout campaign for the tall lock. After his league debut against Gloucester, Tom started in Tigers victory away to Saracens, and scored his first try for the club in a Premiership Cup clash against Nottingham.
Speaking on the new deal, the former England U20s international said: “I’m very excited to be staying at Tigers.”
“It’s a privilege to play for the team I supported my whole life, and to do it with my brother as well is special.
“I have ticked off some big goals this season but I’m hungry to learn more and earn opportunities to play.”
Leicester Tigers general manager, Richard Wilks said: “It’s great to have Tom signed up.”
“Tom has had an excellent season this year.
“He's local lad who loves Tigers. He has the potential to kick on from here and be a great contributor to the club. We’re very pleased to have him locked in.”
