Leicester Tigers flyhalf Handre Pollard will start for South Africa against Tonga at the Rugby World Cup this Sunday.
The World Cup winner was a late callup to the defending champions’ squad having made his return from injury in Leicester’s victory against Sale in round two of the Premiership Cup.
Pollard is joined by Tigers backrower Jasper Wiese in South Africa’s starting team, the bruising ball carrier having played big minutes in the tournament so far.
Tigers recruit Solomone Kata is likely to feature again for Tonga, the centre having spent most of his time on the wing at this World Cup.
