Three Tigers in Scotland squad for Six Nations opener

Three Leicester Tigers players are included in the Scotland squad for this weekend's 2025 Guinness Women's Six Nations opener.

Scotland open their tournament when they welcome Wales to Hive Stadium, Edinburgh on Saturday, March 22 (4.45pm). You can watch live on BBC 2 or iPlayer.

Francesca McGhie has been named to start, whilst clubmates Leah Bartlett and Evie Wills are amongst the replacements.

Should she enter the field, this match will mark a first international appearance in over three years for Wills, who enjoyed a stellar season in Leicester after featuring in all but one of Tigers 18 games across the PWR Up series and Premiership Women's Rugby.

The centre suffered an ACL injury that ruled her out of the entirety of her first season with the club in 2023/24 but has been an ever-present for the club since recovering.

Following their opening match, Scotland will travel to France before hosting Italy.

Their penultimate game in the tournament will see them travel to Mattioli Woods Welford Road when Leicester plays host to the round four match between England and Scotland (Saturday, April 19 - 4.45pm).

Tickets are available now and can be purchased HERE.
