The Leicester Tigers Foundation have set a new Fundraising Challenge for this year's Run4All Leicester 10K and are appealing for participants to help them raise £21,000 to support the club's new Down Syndrome rugby team and new Junior Wheelchair Rugby team.
The Leicester Tigers Foundation have been confirmed as a returning partner for the event, set to take place on Sunday, March 3 with a city centre route that will both start and finish in Leicester's Jubilee Square.
Commenting on the partnership, Chief Executive Officer of the Leicester Tigers Foundation, Sam Swift, said: “2024 promises to be an incredibly exciting year ahead for the Leicester Tigers Foundation, with the brilliant recent additions of our Down Syndrome and Junior Wheelchair Rugby teams.
“As with many of our programmes, we rely heavily on the support of our generous donators, to sustain the exciting initiatives and allow them to grow. In response to this and in partnership with Run4All, the Leicester Tigers Foundation, will aim to raise £21,000 ahead of the race, linking the significance of the number 21 to the Down Syndrome community as a key part of the campaign.”
