Leicester Tigers have named a team led by Natasha Jones for the pre-season fixture against London Irish on Saturday as the countdown continues to the Women’s Championship campaign.
Jones, a previous England representative at Under-20s and ‘A’ grades, starts at centre after missing the opening summer fixture at Bristol.
Kathryn Turner comes into the team at No8, with Roisin McBrien, Ali Gale and Bryany Chalk in line for their first appearance of the pre-season programme against an Exiles team with experience of three successive league titles at Championship level.
Kick-off is at 5.30pm at Oval Park and supporters are welcome. Please note there is no parking available onsite.
The pre-season ends with a trip to Henley hawks next Sunday ahead of the Championship opener away to Bishop Auckland on September 18.
