Young players across the UK have been learning from the pros this week as Leicester Tigers’ summer rugby camps swing into action.

Players from Under-7s right up to Under-18s headed to Shipston-on-Stour and Scarborough rugby clubs as well as Stamford School, with attendees also getting the chance to quiz Tigers stars Ben White, Jordan Olowofela and David Denton on life as a professional player.

Sessions covered the basics of rugby – including tackling, contact and handling – as well as learning through live games under the watchful eye of Tigers’ experienced community coaches.

There’s still time to book onto next week’s rugby camps in Lichfield, Lutterworth and Diss, with upcoming camps being held across the UK throughout July and August.

All attendees receive a FREE junior match ticket to an allocated Tigers home game next season, Tigers water bottle, t-shirt and rugby ball. Kids attending the full-day camps also receive a hot lunch and refreshments.
