Leicester Tigers Women's have won the Championship North 1.
The league title was confirmed following the cancellation of the fixture against Barnsley scheduled to be played on Saturday, March 25 at Oval Park.
The team will now be looking ahead to the Championship play-off series, which will take place in April.
This involves the top two from Championship North 1 and the top two from Championship South 1, with the semi-finals taking place on the weekend of April 15/16 before the Championship final on the weekend of April 29/30.
Dependent on the results of the next two weekends, Tigers will be facing one of Old Albanians Ladies or Thurrock Ladies, who presently occupy the second and third places respectively, separated by a single point.
If they win their semi-final, the team will then move onto the Championship final, where they will face the winner of Cheltenham Tigers and Bath ladies.
