Tigers kicked off the season with victory over London Welsh last week and now host Worcester Warriors in the first home game of the Aviva Premiership campaign. Kick-off is at 3pm.
To commemorate the occasion we have organised family activities and entertainment at Tigers In The Park from 11am opposite the stadium in Nelson Mandela Park.
The highlight is the Welford Sound Stage, with music from local trio The Chizzitts, The Method and By The Rivers plus headliners Uncle Frank.
There is dancing with Tom Shilcock, of So You Think You Can Dance, and his group from Dupont Stage School Leicester, plus the Tigers Tented Shopping Village and Fans Food Court.
In the Junior Tigers Club Sport Park you can test your skills in the Extreme Pass Challenge and win a family pass to the match, or see how it is done with a skills session presented by Tigers Academy coach Tosh Askew and some of his young players.
Leicestershire and Rutland Golf Partnership are bringing mini golf and golf nets, so you can practise your swing, and there will be a bike park from Ride Leicester. We’ve also got a rodeo surfboard, bouncy castles, sumo suits, table tennis, volleyball and much more, all for free. All the activities on the park will be open from 11am.
Turnstiles for the match open at 1pm, with kick-off at 3pm.
New matchday catering options around the stadium include Domino’s Pizza, Flaming Great Burger, Frank’s New York Street Hot-Dogs and Henry’s Chicken, and all bars will be open throughout the afternoon.
The Tigers Club Store and ticket office are open from 9am, and extra shop points are open around the stadium.
The ticket collection point is outside the ticket office at the corner of the Caterpillar Stand.
Your matchday programme includes a chat with the new faces in the first-team squad, together with double-page team poster. We’ve got all the news from Welford Road, puzzles in the Junior Tigers Club pages and George Chuter returns with a sideways look on life in Inside Line. The 100-page programme is on sale throughout the stadium, price £3.
Season ticket holders can pick up their copy of the Official Review of the Season 2011/12 from The Final Whistle on the way into the game.
After the game stay behind for more live music with our house band, Rock Bottom.
Match tickets are still available. Phone the ticket office on 0844 856 1880 (option 2), call in at Welford Road or book online.
