Leicester Tigers club mascot Welford joined pupils from schools in Leicestershire to support a number of fun-runs for Sport Relief 2018.

Visiting pupils at Taylor Road Primary and Birkett House School, Welford joined other local mascots including ‘Hot Shot’ from Leicester Riders, Leicester City’s ‘Filbert Fox’ and ‘Charlie the Fox’ from Leicestershire County Cricket. 

Welford met youngsters posing for photos and took part in helping the kids run their fun-run all in aid of raising money for Sport Relief Week.

Welford also gave out certificates to each of the participants as they helped to record the steps needed to reach Sport Relief’s target of one billion steps across the nation.
