Four Tigers in England squad to face Japan

Four Leicester Tigers players have been included in the England matchday squad for their Rugby World Cup 2023 game against Japan at Stade de Nice on Sunday, September 17.

Ollie Chessum and Freddie Steward have been named in the starting side, while George Martin and Ben Youngs are included among the replacements.

Scrum-half Youngs is in line for his first game of the tournament.

Chessum, Steward and Martin featured in England's tournament opener against Argentina, as well as fellow Tiger Dan Cole.

Elsewhere, soon-to-be Leicester back Solomone Kata will start for Tonga in their first outing of the World Cup against Ireland.

Leicester's Tommy Reffell (Wales) and Jasper Wiese (South Africa) are also included for their respective nations this weekend.
