This week’s Aviva Premiership opener against Bath marks the start of the 125th season of rugby at Welford Road. To mark the occasion, we’re asking supporters in the Holland & Barrett Stand to play their part in celebrating the anniversary just ahead of kick-off.

Fans will be asked to participate in a stand-wide call of arms to hold a card panel aloft just before the players walk on to the pitch just for kick-off at 3.00pm.

The cards will reveal a ‘125’ message and the club’s famous red, white and green backdrop.

Card panels will be distributed on each seat and we request that supporters reach their places by 2:50pm and then, on the signal, raise their cards to welcome the teams in style for the opening day of the new season. 

You can keep the card panel as a souvenir and the cameras will catch the welcome for posterity.
