Leicester Tigers backing Poppy Appeal 2012

Figure image
Leicester Tigers are supporting the Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal by auctioning the team's shirts which incorporate a poppy for the historic match against Maori All Blacks.

The Tigers players will sign their own shirt after the game and these will be auctioned online by the club in aid of the annual Poppy Appeal.

The Tigers versus Maori All Blacks fixture is at Welford Road on Tuesday, November 13, and is the closest home game to Remembrance Sunday.

All money raised from the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal goes towards providing much-needed support for the Armed Forces and their families, and the donations target for this year is £42million.

Please give generously – and wear your poppy with pride.

Leicester Tigers have also added a Poppy Appeal logo to the club’s official Twitter and Facebook pages.

Full details of the Poppy Appeal shirt auction will be posted on the club website at www.leicestertigers.com next week.

Tickets for the Tigers versus Maori All Blacks match are available now from the Tigers ticket office. Hospitality packages are also available.
