LTTV caught up with Leicester Tigers head groundsman Ed Mowe to find out how the Welford Road pitch is coping with the start of the new season.

Ed and his team work at Welford Road and the Oval Park training ground to ensure the playing surfaces are maintained and cared for over the course of a long campaign. From facing up to the weather to using STIHL’s mowers and strimmers, the groundstaff play an important role.
