Following the remarkable transformation of the Welford Road club shop in August, Leicester Tigers and retail partner Kitbag have today released exclusive pictures revealing the new Tigers Store which will be located in Leicester city centre.

Tigers are taking over the existing Cotton Traders store on Market Street and the exciting development will see a dedicated Leicester Tigers Store in the heart of the city.

The store will occupy 1,200 square feet and will be completely devoted to Leicester Tigers, stocking the latest fashion ranges as well as the new 2011/12 home kit and training ranges. The new store will also offer an extensive selection of souvenirs and gifts that will be perfect for any Tigers fan this Christmas.

Replicating the style and sophistication of the Welford Road Tigers Store it’s sure to be a massive hit with the fans when it opens on October 20. The contemporary, spacious design features wooden floors and wood trim mixed with large graphics to create a striking visual effect. The clean, fresh design is complemented by state-of-the-art digital screens for a sophisticated feel.

It is not just the design of the store that is being updated, fans will also notice a greatly improved service when they visit the new Market Street store. In-store shirt printing will be available as well as the ability to buy Tigers match tickets. An upgraded ordering facility will see fans able to make a purchase in the store and have items delivered to anywhere in the world. Similarly, it is possible to make a purchase at the online store and collect the items in store, saving on postage costs.

Commenting on the new store, Leicester Tigers chairman Peter Tom CBE said: “We’ve been delighted with the positive feedback we’ve received from the fans who have visited the new Welford Road Tigers Store, so to expand this enhanced shopping experience to the city centre is definitely an exciting time for the club and the fans.”
