Leicester Tigers supporters can get behind members of the club’s wheelchair rugby as they pull on the Great Britain jersey at this coming weekend’s Quad Nations tournament in Leicester.
Nick Cummins, Jamie Stead Gavin Walker and international debutant Jack Smith were all selected in the 13-man squad that will face the world’s top two ranked teams, Australia and the USA.
Tigers season ticket holders can save 50% off all tickets across the three-day event, which will be hosted at the Morningside Arena on February 21-23.
Tickets start from £7.50 for adults for either a morning or evening session or include a family ticket for £15.00 for two adults and two children. Fans can use the promotional code ‘Tigers50’.
The event marks the third annual instalment of the exhibition completion, which will see each team play each other twice in the group stage over two days with the group winner progressing to the Gold medal match and second/third placed fighting it out for the right to take on the group winners in the final.
Wheelchair rugby continues to grow in popularity, with Leicester the figurehead of the sport in recent years thanks to the success of Leicester Tigers Wheelchair Rugby team.
