Leicester Tigers prop Michele Rizzo has joined Edinburgh Rugby on a short-term loan.
Italy international Rizzo will team up again with former boss Richard Cockerill in Scotland with the new domestic season kicking off next weekend.
Rizzo has been signed as cover for injuries to Allan Dell, Rory Sutherland and Alasdair Dickinson who are expected to be ruled out until October, November and December respectively.
