In response to enquiries from supporters, Leicester Tigers would like to provide an update on players yet to feature in the 23/24 campaign.
Ten members of the club's Senior Squad are yet to play in the Premiership Rugby Cup or Gallagher Premiership due to their involvement in the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France.
Julián Montoya (Argentina), Ollie Chessum, Dan Cole, George Martin, Freddie Steward and Ben Youngs (England), Handré Pollard and Jasper Wiese (South Africa), Solomone Kata (Tonga) and Tommy Reffell (Wales) have represented their respective nations in the tournament, with only Kata and Reffell now back in Leicester.
Back-rower Reffell will make his first appearance of the season away to Bath Rugby on Saturday, starting at openside flanker, while summer-signing Kata is unavailable for selection through injury.
The remaining eight players - with Argentina, England and South Africa - will link back up with their Tigers teammates in the build-up to Round 5 ahead of the home game against Harlequins at Mattioli Woods Welford Road on Saturday, November 11.
Kata is one of a handful of Senior Squad members who remain sidelined through injury alongside Matt Scott and Jack van Poortvliet, who have not made an appearance so far this season, while Harry Simmons and back-row pair Olly Cracknell and Kyle Hatherell have suffered knocks in the opening rounds of the season and are unavailable for selection for Bath this weekend.
Meanwhile, James Cronin will run out at The Recreation Ground for his first league match of the campaign this weekend after overcoming an injury.
