Kick-off in the LV= Cup it at 3pm, with the Academy match to follow at 5.30pm.
Tigers and Gloucester are both unbeaten in the opening rounds of the new Academy League for under-18s teams.
Tigers Academy top the northern conference after three successive bonus-point wins, while Gloucester have claimed wins in each of their opening two fixtures.
After starting the campaign with a 30-9 victory over Leeds Carnegie, Tigers scored four tries in a 32-9 win at Worcester Warriors and then beat Newcastle Falcons 38-0 away.
Academy manager Neil McCarthy said: “A league competition, with bonus points, is completely new to this group of players so they are all learning with every fixture and that is important in their development.
“The next two fixtures will be important because Gloucester and Sale have won both of their opening games and they’ll want to see what we are made of too, and then we have a local derby with Northampton so the second half of the competition should be very interesting.”
The Academy match against Northampton Saints originally scheduled for this weekend has been postponed to accommodate the re-arranged league fixture.
