'Under the Stripes' is back and first up, we're getting to know our new Australian international centre, Izaia Perese. 

'Izzy' talks us through his go-to karaoke song, what he can't live without and much more. 

Born and raised in Brisbane, Australia, Perese broke through as a professional at Super Rugby side Queensland Reds, which earned him selection in the Wallabies squad as a teenager.

Perese left rugby to try his hand in rugby league, with the Brisbane Broncos, before returning to the game with Bayonne in France.

Ahead of the 2021 Super Rugby season, he returned to Australia with the NSW Waratahs and debuted for Australia in 2022. Perese was a part of Australia's 2023 Rugby World Cup squad.
