Leicester Tigers Women's will face Old Albanian Ladies in the 2022/23 Championship play-off semi-finals on Sunday, April 16 (Kick-off: 3.00pm) at Leicester Forest RFC.

Please note: The club were unable to change the kick-off time for the semi-final or Gallagher Premiership fixture being played on the same day

Tigers finished first in the Championship North 1 league, after an unbeaten debut campaign, while Old Albanian Ladies finished second in the Championship South 1 with 14 wins.

The Hertfordshire side is on a 10-game winning streak coming into the knockout stages, which includes victories over third-placed Thurrock Ladies and a 26-15 victory over Bath Ladies, who topped the Championship South 1 league and face Cheltenham Tigers in the other semi-final.

In what will likely be a match brimming with flair, both sides come into the contest in electric attacking form.

Tigers lead the way in Championship North 1, with a monumental 866 points scored in 18 matches (and that is with two games that were given as a walkover).

Regular followers of the women's team will have an idea who leads the way on this front as Molly Draycott has racked up over 150 points herself, a tally that includes an astonishing 23 tries.

Not far behind, Katie Childs is the league's second top try scorer with 14 so far this season and 149 points overall as the predominant kick-taker in the team (duties she also shares with Draycott).

The side have the luxury of scoring threats all across the park as wings Zoë Evans and Lucrezia Iavarone are both on 11 tries, whilst versatile Morgan Richardson (who has split her time between flanker and scrum-half this year) sits just behind on 10.

Old Albanians, meanwhile, were also the top scorers in their league, with 624 points from 18 games. Their key players include flyers Siobhan Drummond and Caroline Collie, who have scored 16 and 14 tries respectively.

Drummond is in exceptional form, with 12 tries in her last five games, whilst Collie is the side's top points scorer, as she also takes penalties and conversions on top of her try scoring, boasting a mighty 175 points so far this season.

The semi-final winners will face off in the Championship Play-Off Final. Match details for the fixture, which will be played at a neutral venue, will be confirmed following the semi-finals.
