Leicester Tigers legend Dusty Hare is set to share some of his favourite memories of Welford Road as part of an exclusive stadium tour being held on behalf of the club’s Foundation later this month.
World rugby’s all-time points record-holder will be the guest of honour for a special Q&A session on Saturday, June 22 at the historic ground, where supporters will also be granted special access to all areas of the stadium including the changing rooms, corporate boxes, press area and much more – including spaces not usually open to the public on matchdays.
In anticipation of the event, we’ve dug out Dusty’s exclusive interview with LTTV from last summer, shared as part of the club’s celebrations of 125 years at Welford Road. You can view both parts one and two below.
There are two tours available on the day – at 11.00am and 2.00pm – with the tour itself lasting approximately 90 minutes.
All guests will also receive a special club gift to commemorate the event as well as a two-course buffet lunch at approximately 12.30pm.
The former Leicester, England and British & Irish Lions star will take part in the Q&A session during lunch, which will be served in the Clubhouse Lounge.
Tickets cost £40 for adults and £30 for junior supporters and concessions, with further discounts available for season ticket holders at £35 and £25.
All proceeds go towards the Leicester Tigers Foundation to help deliver some of the club’s community engagement programmes.
